It is a very young university of the USA. More than 40% of its’ students are Spanish. SCUSM is a public university and it was founded as a campus of famous California State University. Today it has four own colleges: College of Business Administration, College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral and Social Sciences, College of Education, Health and Human Services. The university is located on a 304-acre hillside in a short distance to the best beaches and only one hour drive from the US and Mexico border. CSUSM consists of various cultural centers, food courts, game rooms, it also has its own apartment-style dorms with such facilities as fitness centers, pools, common areas and others.
