It is an initial teaching qualification for new teachers or those without a formal qualification, who are working in language schools or in compulsory education. It is the most widely recognized English teaching qualification in the world and the most often requested by employers. It focuses on developing practical techniques, and includes face-to-face or online teaching practice with groups of learners.
