Bachelor’s degree is the first stage of higher education and is called undergraduate degree. The average duration of the course is 3-6 years and it depends on the county educational system, university regulations and the chosen specialty. However, there are degrees for which practical work experience is also required – the duration of study increases accordingly. At the end of their studies, students take a state exam and defend their thesis. After graduating from the Bachelor’s degree, graduates can start a professional career, or continue their studies in a Master’s degree. When changing the university, faculty and specialization, it is necessary to take 2-3 transitional exams.
