American University or AU is a private but federally chartered higher education institution located in Washington D.C.. The main campus of AU has a territory of 90 acres / 36 ha and is on Massachusetts Avenue the other East Campus is on Nebraska Avenue and has a territory of 8.1 acres with state-of-the-art facilities, and accessible green spaces.
