SUNY Oswego is a public university located in the picturesque city Oswego, New York on the Lakeshore of Lake Ontario. About 700 acres of territory belongs to the University. It has two campuses in Oswego and in Syracuse both in New York state. SUNY Oswego was founded by Edward Austin Sheldon as an Elementary Teacher Training School. But today the university campus consists of 46 buildings with well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, residential premises and athletics complexes.
The campus renovation and renewal program has advanced greatly in recent years at a cost of about $1. SUNY Oswego provides its’ student with 100 academic programs of different levels – Bachelor’s, Master’s degrees and some certificate programs.
Different living options are offered to the University’s students, there are 13 available residences.
Except academic programs students are also offered a big variety of clubs and organizations.
