CELTA is a certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages. It opens up a world of English language teaching opportunities. It is an initial teaching qualification for new teachers or those without a formal qualification, who are working in language schools or in compulsory education. It is the most widely recognized English teaching qualification in the world and the most often requested by employers. It focuses on developing practical techniques, and includes face-to-face or online teaching practice with groups of learners. CELTA can be full time (4 weeks) or part-time (6 weeks), face-to-face or online. At the end of the course trainees have written assessments, also lesson planning and teaching practice are contributed to the final grade. The CELTA teaching methodology is based on two basic principles:
1) a focus on communicative language teaching. Teachers can provide rich, meaningful lessons that strengthen background information and promote the literacy of students learning English;
2) communication is only in English, that is, the native language of the student is not used in the class.
The total duration of the course is 120 academic hours.

Age: 18+;
English level: C1 – C2.
