DELTA is an internationally recognised English language teaching qualification that provides professional development for teachers with at least one year work experience and gives you skills and techniques that will help you throughout your career. It is suitable for teaching any age groups, from young learners to adults.
Who is DELTA for?
1) teachers who have been teaching for at least one year;
2) teachers who want to progress into more senior roles such as head of English and teacher training;
3) experienced teachers who want to extend their expertise in a specialist area.
There are three DELTA modules which can be taken together or separately, in any order and at any time:
1) Understanding Language, Methodology and Resources for Teaching;
2) Developing Professional Practice;
3) Option 1: Extending Practice and English language teaching specialism.
Option 2: English language teaching management.
All three modules include a focus on theory and practice. You can take as many of the modules as you want. Teachers receive a certificate and credit for each module successfully completed, and an overarching DELTA certificate once they complete all three modules.

Minimum entry requirements:
Age: 18+;
English level: C1 – C2;
Work experience in teaching: at least 1 year.
