Applewild School is an independent boarding school located in New England. The school puts a lot of value on the sense of community and nurturing environment. Applewild School was established in 1957, in a small city in Massachusetts. The school’s campus is located in a wildlife sanctuary and consists of 7 buildings. So it is the crucial part of school’s daily practice to engage with nature in a meaningful way with classes and various activities being outside. The state in which the school is located has also influenced the teaching style and even the setting of classes by large. It is not a rarity that a class from this school learns not in the form of lectures, but as a group in one of the many places in MA so rich in culture and history like Harvard or a museum. Applewild serves grades K-9 and at that age personalized approach with consideration of strengths, weaknesses and passion of a single child is extremely important. With small classes of about 10 people in each, caring, sensitive teachers and strong interpersonal connections promoted through specialized programs and field trips, Applewild can discover this uniqueness and make something great out of every child. There are regular all-school meetings with various activities so no one feels alone or left out. The school also has a program for children with special needs, a variety of clubs like debate and art. Applewild has adopted several anti-discriminatory policies, including those ensuring a fair admission process regardless of origin, ethnicity or socio-economic status. Financial aid is provided to those in need.

[/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner]
