St. Anne’s – Belfield School is a private boarding/day school in Virginia, USA. It’s a big school both in terms of the size of the student body and its campus: there are under 1000 students and the school consists of two campuses that are located nearby the University of Virginia which itself is a great opportunity for those students seeking a good education environment. For such students Belfield school has structured the curriculum that exceeds basic expectations: all students take at least 18 AP classes throughout high school, due to this and other factors the majority of the students who want to continue their education in a university get into their first or second choice institution. Education at Belfield school is not only good in 5 core classes, but also in arts and athletics: theatre, visual art, music, as well as volleyball, soccer, swimming and others are offered by the school. Students are encouraged to attend some of these classes for at least one year so that students don’t miss out on the opportunity to explore while they are at the best place for that. Although average grade sizes are big, the school managed to keep classes relatively small by having just over 100 educators, so that each student feels like they belong and are cared for by their community. Belfield school keeps enough counsellors on campus to fulfil the needs of its students whether it is academic support or college counselling. International students are welcome to attend the school, in fact tenth of the student body comprises international students that can expect during their first two years to receive the attention at an accelerated program to help them better adjust to the academic environment. Financial aid is provided by St. Anne’s-Belfield School.
